Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-07-13 · version 2026-07-13-draft
Draft — pending legal review. Not yet binding.
1. What we collect
Account data (name, email). Wedding data you enter (events, budget, guest list, registry). Guest data you add or that guests submit via RSVP (name, contact, dietary needs, plus-ones).
Payment data is handled by Stripe; Ever stores only non-sensitive references and a mirrored fund balance for display. We never store full card numbers.
With consent where required (see the Cookie Policy), aggregate product-analytics events (page views, feature usage) to improve the product.
2. How we use it
To operate the planning tools, render your public wedding site, process registry/fund contributions via Stripe, and power AI features.
AI features send relevant context to our model provider (Anthropic) to generate responses. [COUNSEL/PRIVACY: confirm subprocessor disclosures and any DPA terms.]
3. Sharing
We share data with the sub-processors listed in our Data Processing Addendum, each bound by contract to use it only to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal data.
Vendor leads share the couple-provided inquiry details with the chosen vendor. [COUNSEL: confirm regions of processing per subprocessor.]
4. Guest data
Couples control their guest list and are responsible for having a basis to contact their guests. Guests may request correction or deletion via the couple or via us. [PRIVACY: confirm CCPA/CPRA + GDPR posture if serving those regions.]
5. Retention, security, and your rights
We retain data while your account is active and per legal requirements. We use industry-standard safeguards (encrypted transport, Stripe-hosted card handling for SAQ-A scope).
You may request access, export, correction, or deletion. [PRIVACY: insert the rights/process specific to applicable laws and the verification mechanism.]
6. Contact
Privacy questions: [COUNSEL: insert contact + mailing address and, if required, an EU/UK representative.]
